What Kalkulo is

Kalkulo.eu is a collection of free, country-specific financial calculators. Most online calculators use a single generic formula and ignore local rules; ours don't. Each market applies its own tax bands, social-contribution rates, currency and terminology — so a net-salary result for Spain follows Spanish rules, and a take-home figure for the UK follows HMRC's, rather than an averaged-out approximation. Every calculator is free to use, needs no account, and runs the calculation in your browser.

How it works

Pick your country above to reach that market's hub, then choose a calculator — salary and take-home pay, income tax, VAT, self-employment, mortgages and loans, property taxes, leave and severance, and more. Each page shows the result broken down line by line (not just a final number), a plain-language explanation of the rule it applies, a worked example, the official source, and the tax year the figures belong to.

How we keep figures accurate

Rates and thresholds are checked against each country's primary official sources — tax authorities, statutory instruments and government guidance — before a calculator is published or updated. We review figures at the start of each tax year and after major fiscal changes, and every page carries a "last updated" date. These tools are informational and don't replace advice from a tax authority or a qualified professional; for binding figures, always verify with the official source.
